Lew Wilson Art Feature

The Bald Head Island Conservancy is partnering with Lew Wilson Art to celebrate their beautiful artwork while raising funds for the Conservancy. Because of the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses and nonprofits, Lewis and Laura, owners of Lew Wilson Art, feel that it is important to give back to those that might benefit from it when possible. Laura states, “I am so grateful for all the nature around us to enjoy during this time, and partnering with the Conservancy to fundraise for them is something we are excited to do.”

Laura and Lewis have a variety of artwork, with local town art and collegiate paintings being popular favorites among their customers. After many requests for Bald Head Island and Southport paintings, they recently started a coastal series of artwork.

The paintings included in the coastal series are special and iconic to the island. Some paintings, like the one of Old Baldy and the one of the Bald Head Chapel, have recently been done by a new team member, artist Katie Liu. Other artwork features the painted bunting, the boathouse, the marina, and more!

We invite you to visit their website at www.lewwilsonart.com. Currently, 20% of all sales on their website will be donated to the Bald Head Island Conservancy with code BHIC at checkout!
