Notes from the Classroom: Virtual Field Trips
Bald Head Island Conservancy Virtual Field Trips are held over Zoom and last ~45 minutes, which includes time for questions from students. Each virtual field trip includes live animals and can focus on either Reptiles (and their adaptations), Sea Turtles (their biology & life cycle), or Marine Tide Pool Critters (and their adaptations).

Virtual Field Trips are intended for classrooms/school groups of no more than 30 students and cost $50/virtual field trip ($20 for additional field trips of the same topic for the same school; fee waived for Title I schools). Teachers, if you are interested in booking a Virtual Field Trip, please email Marissa Blackburn, our Senior Educator at marissa@bhic.org. Our education team is able to offer virtual field trips Mondays - Fridays from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and are currently scheduling through the end of the year. Once a date is set, we will send an invoice via email for payment. Our education team will happily set-up a Zoom link for your class, or if your class is already using a set Zoom link, we are happy to use that as well!

If you are a parent interested in sponsoring a virtual field trip for your child's class, please send us the contact information for your child's teacher(s).
