Part-Time Finance Assistant:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and assist in the organization’s financial and accounting responsibilities. This work requires integrity, dependability, attention to detail, and an understanding of internal accounting controls.

This position is part-time, 16-24 hours weekly at our campus located on a barrier island that is accessible only by boat or ferry. Flexibility is key to this position, along with a positive attitude.

We are seeking recent college graduates with Development experience to join our nonprofit team dedicated to the conservation, education, and preservation of barrier islands.

This 4-month position will start mid-August. Duties include assisting with fundraising and marketing of events as well as general duties at the Conservancy.

Part-Time Campus Manager:

Part-time position available as the BHI Conservancy's Campus Manager

Average 2-3 days/week

Responsibilities:
Miscellaneous campus repairs, e.g. doors, windows and toilets
Change air filters, lights bulbs etc
Clean and paint outside of buildings, as needed
Golf cart preventive maintenance 
Maintain outside campus areas presentable 
Other duties/responsibilities, as assigned

Coastal Conservation and Education Internship:

We are seeking recent college graduates with environmental education and conservation fieldwork experience to join our nonprofit team dedicated to the conservation, education, and preservation of barrier islands. These are 4- or 10-month positions starting in mid-August 2019. Duties include assisting with education programs and conservation fieldwork, in addition to other responsibilities essential to the function of a nonprofit organization.
